Knowledge management encompasses many areas of day-to-day working life. Alongside storing and retrieving information, it includes important elements like general work processes, collaborating in a team, and onboarding and enabling processes. Knowledge management with a sensible structure saves a vast amount of time because it simplifies cumbersome work processes and enables employees efficient access to knowledge. This opens up greater capacity for the actual task at hand, increasing the company’s productivity.
Knowledge management requires continual development and sustainable maintenance for it to permanently optimise a company’s effectiveness. That is why we support you in the implementation. More than that, we ensure that you can use knowledge management effectively and enjoy long-lasting success with a number of measures and continual support.
We have provided knowledge management consultancy and support for over 120 customers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including companies from the broadest possible range of sectors as well as educational institutions in the university sector.
Creating and updating knowledge are crucial factors for successful knowledge management. Defining clear processes ensures that there are no misunderstandings or confusion, because employees always have access to the same, up-to-date information. Even after employees leave the company, their knowledge remains and does not have to be acquired again from scratch, which would require a lot of time and effort. Digital knowledge management systems help to gather knowledge in a single place and to cluster it together in a way that makes sense, making it easy and quick to retrieve the information.
However, there is no single universal system that suits every company. For some companies, a wiki or collaboration tool may be the best option. For others, this may be an agile knowledge manager. That is why we start by identifying our customer’s requirements and working with them to find the right system. To succeed in this core task, we utilise our years of experience using different tools and our close contact with the software developers working on the project.
Digital learning means that a large portion of the learning process is provided and conducted digitally. This involves a digital learning infrastructure that enables learners to obtain content in an interactive way across various media – when and where they want to.
In 2020, we launched our own virtual learning platform. Since then, it has welcomed over 1,500 learners and offered over 50 courses. We have also provided our customers with their own online academies, which are then used internally, for example for their onboarding process or for their employees’ further training.
We are continually creating new learning formats for our own academy and for our customers, testing them in a practical setting (e.g., learning journeys, VCTs and interactive videos). We are always careful to combine innovative technology with a sophisticated didactic concept. By using various media and interactive elements, we aim to make all of our formats fun as well as informative.
To be able to implement digital working effectively in a team, the digital workplace must have a design that makes sense. This facilitates communication, project management and document management, and increases employee efficiency and flexibility at the same time.
Who does what? What is the status of a task? Where is support required? A suitable project management tool makes your projects transparent and clear. Using a business messenger, you also avoid excessive e-mail traffic with long CC lists. Instead, you send short text messages and communications are combined clearly into channels. Video communication is also becoming increasingly important. Using video for efficient communication does not just encompass video conferences. Videos can also be used effectively for asynchronous communication (e.g., screencasts).
We help you to combine the different tools so that everything works together perfectly, enabling you to see everything at a glance. We also support you in implementing them, as well as in training and optimisation, guaranteeing long-term success.
During process documentation, we record and document your company’s work processes. When doing so, we always work in close collaboration with you and your employees. Together, we define the goals that the documentation is aiming to achieve. We conduct interviews with those involved in the process and determine your company’s work processes in workshops. Based on this, we find weak points in the existing work processes and assess together the defined areas according to priority, feasibility and return.
We develop methods to optimise the processes and provide you with long-lasting support in implementing the new work processes. We provide you with the required content online, as wikis or e-learning materials. This means that all of the content is combined in one place, is easy to retrieve and is always up to date.
